1. About these terms
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Storivue website, the Storivue app and any Photo Journal you order from us. Storivue is operated by Taza Stories Ltd, a company registered in Ireland (company number 825995) with its registered office at 36 Beachwood Close, Bray, Co. Wicklow, A98 YC91 (“Storivue”, “we”, “us”).
By using our services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal data.
2. Using Storivue
- You must be at least 18 to create an account or place an order.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account.
- You agree not to misuse our services, interfere with how they work, or use them for anything unlawful.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, recordings and stories you add (“your content”). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, edit, format and reproduce your content only as needed to provide our services. That includes creating, designing, printing and delivering your Photo Journal. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except where we need to keep it to complete an order or meet a legal obligation.
You confirm that:
- you own your content or have permission to use it;
- you have the consent of the people shown or described in it. For children, that means a parent or guardian;
- your content is not unlawful, defamatory, obscene or offensive and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
We may refuse to print, or may remove, content that breaches these Terms.
4. Your Photo Journal
Storivue helps you shape your words into a story and designs your pages. You can review and edit your journal before ordering. It is your responsibility to check the text, photos, spelling and layout before you approve and order. We print your journal as approved.
Colours in print can differ slightly from how they appear on screen, and the quality of the printed book depends on the quality of the photos you provide.
5. Orders and payment
- Prices are shown in euro and include VAT. Delivery charges are shown before you confirm your order.
- Your order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation by email.
- Payment is taken when you place your order and is processed securely by our payment provider.
- We may cancel an order and refund you in full if we cannot fulfil it, for example because of a pricing error or content that breaches these Terms.
6. Delivery
We will give you an estimated production and delivery time when you order. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by events outside our control, especially at busy times such as Christmas. Risk in your order passes to you when it is delivered to the address you gave us.
7. Cancellations and returns
Each Photo Journal is made to your own specification and personalised with your content. Under EU and Irish consumer law, the 14-day right to cancel does not apply to personalised goods once production has started. You may cancel free of charge before you approve your journal for printing.
This does not affect your statutory rights. If your journal arrives damaged, faulty or not as you approved it, contact us within 30 days of delivery at hello@storivue.com with photos of the problem. We will reprint it or give you a refund.
8. Our intellectual property
The Storivue name, logo, website, app, templates, designs and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use our templates and designs only to create your own Photo Journals for personal, non-commercial use.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. That includes your statutory rights as a consumer.
Otherwise, we are responsible only for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the price you paid for that order. We are not responsible for loss of content you have not backed up, so please always keep your own copies of your original photos and videos.
10. Changes to our services and these Terms
We may update our services and these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to an order is the one in force when you place it. The latest version is always available on this page.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You may also bring proceedings in the courts of Ireland or, if you live elsewhere in the EU, in the courts of your home country.
